About Peter Kaufman
Peter D. Kaufman is the Chairman and CEO of Glenair, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrical and fiber-optic components for aerospace. He joined the company as an accounting student at USC and has held various executive roles before becoming CEO.
A lifelong resident of Southern California, Peter is deeply involved in philanthropy, serving as a trustee of Caltech and Chair of the Board at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. He has also held leadership roles at numerous schools and foundations.
He teaches at several institutions, including Occidental College and the University of Notre Dame, and is the editor of Poor Charlie’s Almanack. Peter holds degrees in accounting and an MBA from USC and resides in Pasadena with his family.
