Kev Zoryan retired as a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley in August 2024. From 2019 to 2024, he was Head of US Asset Management for Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing’s (MSREI) various private equity real estate funds. He was responsible for the sourcing, execution, and asset management oversight of real estate investments. Previous to 2019, Kev was Co-Head of US Acquisitions and Head of West Coast for MSREI. Kev served on various MSREI Investment Committees including the North Haven series of funds, as well as Prime Property Fund (US). In total, Kev spent 25 years at Morgan Stanley.
Kev joined Morgan Stanley in 1997, starting in the Los Angeles office in the private equity investing area of the Firm’s real estate businesses. He was involved in many of MSREI’s investments in the Americas. After returning from business school in 2001, he rejoined the Firm in the Investment Banking Department in Los Angeles as a generalist in Corporate Finance. Kev established the Firm’s Los Angeles real estate investing office in 2005. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Kev was employed by the JE Robert Companies and Ernst & Young.
Kev received an MBA from Harvard Business School (2001) and a BS from the University of Southern California (1994). Kev is actively involved in the national real estate community. He is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a member of the ULI Americas Executive Committee (AEC) (2023 to current), a former ULI Global Governing Trustee (2019 to 2023), and former Chair of the ULI Los Angeles Advisory Board. Kev is a member of the USC Alumni Association (USCAA) Board of Governors and served on the USCAA Executive Committee (2000 to 2024). Kev is the current Chair of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate Advisory Board and a member of its Advisory Board since 2006. He is a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Real Estate since 2011. Kev is the Chair of the Western US Region of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), a global non-profit serving Armenians around the world in education, culture, humanitarian relief, and socioeconomic development. Kev has been a member of the Make A Wish Greater Los Angeles Real Estate Executive Committee since 2013.
Kev and his wife, Liz, have three children, Jacqueline (20), Andrew (18), and Michael (14).
